Worship Leader Magazine has recently published their Winter 2018 issue with a focus on children and worship. Yancy put pen to paper to write a featured article in the issue. In addition you’ll find articles by Dave Wakerley (Hillsong Kids), Seeds Family Worship and others. We are excited for the focus on kids worship in this issue and pray that it will lead to many great conversations in churches between Worship Pastors,
I had started dipping my toe in creating music for kids before, but it was ten years ago this month that I went all in…100% in my commitment to making music for kids.

Many of you may or may not realize that Yancy Ministries is a non-profit. Your support makes a difference for us. We make music for kids. Those songs and videos are literally sung and used around the world. It would not be possible without the help of people like you. For Giving Tuesday and as we near the end of 2017 and you consider year end offerings please consider partnering with us. Your gifts allow us to work on new materials to put out there for kids,
From the time Yancy was a young elementary aged child, she knew God had called her to use music to glorify Him. Everything in her life was about building, learning and growing in her ability to do that very thing. She sang on church worship teams and in special music every chance she could get. After performing her first concert on August 16, 1995 she started taking steps in recording and writing songs.
She’s back! After taking a break last year Yancy will return starting this fall to lead worship for the preteen event, SuperStart. If you’re not familiar with SuperStart it’s an amazing two day event made specifically for 4th, 5th & 6th graders. You can get all the tour info at http://www.ciy.com/superstart

Last weekend I got to experience one of the world’s greatest treasures for the Christian faith. Angus Buchan is his name. He is from South Africa. You may have heard his story before through the film “Faith Like Potatoes”. He does huge rallies all over the world and He had his first USA men’s event last weekend sponsored by my church here in Murfreesboro, TN. I encourage you to check him out. I think your faith will definitely be challenged as mine has been.
