So we all know that Disney is great at environments…it gets talked about in many businesses and churches. But, I want to give a shout out to another business that gets creating an atmosphere. The Woodhouse Day Spa – I’ve been to a couple locations and I have to say from the paint colors, furnishings, lighting and their staff, they create an atmosphere for relaxation.

I’m a tennis fan and an Andre Agassi fan at that. Do you remember his “Image is everything” Canon commercials? Well, it can definitely be true…image and atmosphere is everything. I was processing this and was reminded of how much environment can affect our experience. I’ve said for a long time that music can help you create an environment. (Hello, movie scores!) I also remember what Jesus said in John 14:2: “There are many rooms in my Father’s house. If this were not true, I would have told you. I am going there to PREPARE A PLACE for you.”

Ooh la la. I’m excited about that because as good as Disney is…even as good as Woodhouse Day Spa is…Heaven is gonna be one amazing atmosphere. Jesus is busy preparing the place for me to spend eternity. Rock!
