Hello, hello everyone.

I feel good. You know how when a big heavy burden gets lifted off and you feel like you’re a bird flying and fluttering about like you’re suddenly weightless. Well, that’s pretty much how I feel. I realized that most of the past 6-8 months I’ve been planning, prepping or making a big project happen. All amazing experiences but pressure, deadlines and expectations can sometimes bog us down. I’m in between major projects for a few weeks which is lovely and thus why I suddenly feel each step is a little softer and the world is suddenly mine to experience first hand. So, yesterday, I celebrated by taking a day off. I strived for 100% email free but caved in a little so I think I made it to 98% email free. I had breakfast with my sister, shopped for some birthday gifts for a little three year old friend, lunch with my parents, afternoon shopping with my Mom and then dinner with my husband. It was great to stop and reconnect with my family. They are the most important people in my life. Sadly, my busy schedule oftentimes doesn’t allow for as much quality time to show them how much I love and appreciate them. Who do you need to stop and spend some quality time with? Who do you need to stop and show that you care?

This year is a big year for me. I’ll be turning 30 this summer. One of the highlights is I’ll be in Lexington, KY which has Graeter’s ice cream so it will be an amazing birthday treat. I’ll be spending my birthday at the Children’s Ministry Expo. You may not have heard about it yet. It’s not a conference. There’s no sessions just the largest display of children’s ministry resources ever. So if you’re looking for some new resources to help you this would be a perfect place to go. I’m sure there will be some great deals also. You have to love a sale! Check it out online at http://www.childrensministryexpo.com I’ll be there and don’t you want to wish me happy birthday in person? Yeah, I thought so….see you there!

Happy Thursday on into Friday…….
